Portuguese for foreigners

  1. Who can subscribe to the courses?

All foreigners who are above 16 years old with a school degree comparable to a Brazilian high school degree (or in progress) can subscribe.

  1. How much does it cost?

The Portuguese language course is free of charge for people institutionally linked to UFSCar (undergraduate and graduate students, and faculties).

For members of the external community (including students under the “special student” category), it will be charged a R$220,00 fee per term.

  1. Payment methods:
  1. Bank bill;
  2. Credit card (with extra 5.3% management fee = R$ 231,66).
  1. Required Documents

4.1. For the UFSCar community members:

  1. Digital proof of link to the university;
  2. Identification document issued by the Brazilian government or passport identification pages.

4.2. For the members of the external community:

  1. Only the identification document issued by the Brazilian government or passport identification pages.
